SUMMARY:Sound & Speech – the Wonder of Movement – Dimensions of Transformation
DESCRIPTION:International Conference for Eurythmists\, Speech Artists\, Eurythmy Therapists and those interested\n  \nCall for network building \nDear eurythmy colleagues working in the inclusive and exclusive curative education\, \nThe Section for the Performing Arts is planning an international conference on eurythmy/eurythmy therapy/speech formation from 18–22.4.2022. \nHere for the first time we would like to strengthen the network of eurythmists working in curative education and social therapy. Sonja Zausch will offer a working group for this purpose. The aim is to strengthen this professional profile\, to get to know each other in order to share common research and questions\, to further educate together. \nTo strengthen and professionalize this field of work\, I would like to motivate you to join a working group at this international conference at the Goetheanum. Through my travels to the most diverse places in the world\, I experience again and again that there is a need for a network for this special field. \nAs an opportunity for networking\, I imagine a lot of suggestions and working materials for everyday work\, maybe even mutual hospitations. From whom do you learn more than from your colleague\, who accompanies you with a professional loving eye! Perhaps we could also write a teaching guide through the class levels. \nThis may result in a strong educational impulse that makes the perception of the job profile more visible than at present. Also the question about the future of this professional field is getting louder and louder! \nPlease bring your best practice examples to this working group at the Goetheanum so that we can practice and learn together. I am looking forward to this exchange! \nPlease inform the eurythmists in your organizations worldwide. For further questions\, also for requests for travel support\, please contact s.zausch@inclusivesocial.orgdirectly. \nWarm regards\, \nSonja Zausch\nMember of the Leadership Team \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo the event page

SUMMARY:Professional Development Series Mental Health Disorders - Module 9: Pain Disorders
DESCRIPTION:Chronic pain disorders\, somatoform pain disorder\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday\, people with mental illnesses meet us everywhere\, far beyond the fields of psychiatry\, psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. Mental illness can represent a compromise for the management of the present moment which develops in the course of each human biography\, in the interplay between a tendency towards illness\, which is brought along and inherited\, as well as mental and/or physical damage suffered. In 9 modules\, this training series of the Society of Anthroposophical Physicians in Germany and the German Society for Anthroposophical Psychotherapy aims to integrate natural-scientific\, psychological\, spiritual\, social and practically therapeutic aspects on the basis of an anthroposophic-medical understanding of the human being\, thus enabling a deeper understanding of the clinical picture. \nProgram and registration

SUMMARY:Digital Media - Opportunities and Challenges in Everyday Social Pedagogy
DESCRIPTION:A continuing education course at HFHS Dornach – January 28-29\, 2022 (hybrid).\n\n\n\nToday\, digital media are a natural part of everyday life in our society. For a contemporary social pedagogical program\, the question is therefore not whether digital media should or may be used\, but how professionals can accompany the use of them and support the development of the necessary skills. The diverse program of this conference takes into account the complexity of the topic. (Language: German) \nFlyer for download \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nInformation and registration

SUMMARY:Teacher of the Future – Silent Healing | Doctor of the Future – Teacher in Health Care
DESCRIPTION:International further education for biography work in educational & healing arts\nMedical-therapeutic aspects of biography work for doctors\, therapists and educationalists\nModule 2: December 2–5\, 2021\nIn anthroposophic biographical work the great importance of childhood and adolescence for later development in health and illness becomes visible. In families\, day-care centers and schools\, human fate and the fate of the times meet in our multicultural society today and have a lasting impact on biographical developments. \nHow can medical-therapeutic aspects of biography work be helpful for the prevention of possible disorders\, for the accompaniment and treatment of children and adolescents\, as well as their parents? Which intervention possibilities result from this for patients and clients in view of life and illness crises in later life? \nDue to this close connection between medical and educational aspects\, our second advanced training course on the medical-therapeutic aspects of biographical work is not only aimed at biographical consultants and therapeutic practitioners\, but this time explicitly also at educators and teachers. \nThe further training stands in co-operation with the BVBA and the academy of the GAÄD and the Bund der Freien Waldorfschulen. \nDates\n1st module: 3–6 December 2020 in the Christengemeinschaft in Kassel\, Germany\n2nd module: 2–5 December 2021 at the anthroposophic center in Kassel\, Germany\n3rd module: to be announced \nFees\n420 euros (For therapists and pedagogues who do not receive further training support from their institution\, a reduction is possible on request.) \nLecturers\nCarine Biessels: Biographical Counsellor\, student of human medicine\, lecturer for biographical work at the University of Witten-Herdecke\, biographical counselling for ten years\, founding member of PABC (Professional Association of Biographical Counselling UK)\nDr. med. We hope that this will inspire younger people in particular to take an interest in our topics. Be part of it! \nPlease feel free to contact us with any questions\, suggestions\, or anything that concerns you about this conference. \nWe look forward to seeing you – both near and far away. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration for participation in the on-site conference in Dornach\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration for online participation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCovid-related measures at the on-site conference\n\nIf you have any questions about entering Switzerland\, please refer to the Swiss government’s Travelcheck: https://travelcheck.admin.ch/home. SUMMARY:Professional Development Series on Mental Health - Module 6: Depressive Disorders II
DESCRIPTION:Focus on older age and similar disorders\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday\, people with mental illnesses meet us everywhere\, far beyond the fields of psychiatry\, psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy.

SUMMARY:«Living Connections» - Now online!
DESCRIPTION:Exploring Anthroposophical Meditation\n22 – 25 April 2021 Online\nLiving Connections is an exploration of anthroposophical meditation. \nUnfortunately\, we cannot hold our conference in person due to the prevailing Corona measures. The preparation team has decided to hold the meeting online in an appropriate form. \nThis online meeting will be held as scheduled from Thursday\, April 22 through Sunday\, April 25\, 2021. \nWe want to deepen the meditative efforts and endeavors through Living-Connections especially at this time and not let them fade away. \nThere is an offer of several online workshops in the mornings\, where you can exchange ideas with other participants about these topics. In the afternoons there will be the opportunity in the form of webinars for those not previously familiar with anthroposophical meditation to practice meditation in introductions at this conference. The evenings are shaped by content and artistic contributions. \nIn addition\, there is also the possibility to share experiences online. \nPlease forward this invitation to friends\, colleagues\, and all those you think might be drawn to or want to participate in this impulse of anthroposophical meditation. \nThe exact program schedule and registration formalities can be found on the website of the “Living Connections” conference series. \nWe look forward to meeting with you in April\, if not in person\, at least in this way! \nBart Vanmechelen (for the preparation team ‘Living Connections’)

SUMMARY:Online meeting eurythmy – speech formation – eurythmy therapy
DESCRIPTION:Practical support for lively and artistic work under digital conditions\nThe international Eurythmy\, Eurythmy therapy and Speech Conference has been postponed to 2022;\ninstead a digital sharing of experiences will take place on 7 to 9 April 2021. \nThereby\, the digital medium itself will become the subject of a digital sharing of experiences. We will discuss about questions such as: How do we approach eurythmy\, speech and therapy under digital conditions? How can necessity be turned into productivity and creativity? How can warmth and substance be created? What tips do we have for each other? We will look at areas such as \n\nlearning: what is needed in order to work meaningfully with digital media? How to offer online courses? How can we experience our presence in front of the screen? Everything will be covered – from anthropology to technical know-how.\nsharing experiences on digital approaches in the individual disciplines\ngaining strength through artistic work\, even under digital conditions.\n\nBecause the dramatic arts live from being perceived\, artistic contributions can be filmed before the ‘meeting’ and impulses from the artistic work briefly presented. The material will be cut into clips which can be viewed during the online meeting and for a week after. \n\nIn the afternoon\, there will be an opportunity to meet daily in three time slots. \nWednesday\, 7 April\, 3 p.m.: Lecture by Robin Schmidt\, dealing with the modern human constitution in a technologised world. \nThursday\, 8 April\, 3 p.m.: Research work on the “Apollonian Course” by Stefan Hasler\nSuggestions for dealing with the etheric in the Apollonian Course \nFriday\, 9 April\, 3 p.m.:An event celebrating the 100th anniversary of eurythmy therapy\, with Hana Adamcová\, Matthias Girke and Georg Soldner \nFor the morning and evening sessions we want to focus on three areas: Learning – Exchanging – Energising \n\nNew Working Group «Eurythmy in Curative Education and Social Therapy» \nIn spring 2021\, a new working group will be formed on the topic of eurythmy in curative education and social therapy. In order to strengthen and professionalize this field of work\, we invite you to a first working group meeting within the digital conference of the Section for the Performing Arts. \nThe networking workgroup will also be held in digital format and will run from 7.30–21 p.m. on all three days. \nTraveling to a wide variety of places around the world with special education such as inclusive schools\, small classes\, special education schools and social therapy facilities\, it becomes clear time and time again that there is a need for a network for this specialty. \nWe all know that this specialty is not given attention in any training and yet it is a very valuable and heartwarming field of work.\nHow do you work with movement when you want to create something artistic-pedagogical with people with limited movement and many other abilities? \nOur chance of a network work is exchange of experiences\, suggestions and working materials for the professional everyday life\, perhaps also mutual hospitations. After all\, from whom do I learn more than from the colleague who accompanies me with a professional loving eye! Perhaps we could also write a teaching guide through the class levels. \nThis may result in a strong educational impulse that makes the perception of the job profile more visible than at present. The question about the future and the new generation of the professional field is also getting louder and louder! \nPlease bring your best practices to this working group so we can practice and learn together. I am looking forward to this exchange! \nContact:\nSonja Zausch\ns.zausch@inclusivesocial.org\nMobile (Signal\, Telegram and Threema):\n+49 173 202 67 97 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo the event page

SUMMARY:Teacher of the Future – Silent Healing | Doctor of the Future – Teacher in Health Care
DESCRIPTION:International further education for biography work in educational & healing arts\nMedical-therapeutic aspects of biography work for doctors\, therapists and educationalists\nModule 1: December 3–6\, 2020\nIn anthroposophic biographical work the great importance of childhood and adolescence for later development in health and illness becomes visible. \nDates\n1st module: 3–6 December 2020 in the Christengemeinschaft in Kassel\, Germany\n2nd module: 2–5 December 2021 at the anthroposophic center in Kassel\, Germany\n3rd module: to be announced \nFees\n420 euros (For therapists and pedagogues who do not receive further training support from their institution\, a reduction is possible on request.) \nLecturers\nCarine Biessels: Biographical Counsellor\, student of human medicine\, lecturer for biographical work at the University of Witten-Herdecke\, biographical counselling for ten years\, founding member of PABC (Professional Association of Biographical Counselling UK)\nDr. med. SUMMARY:Jetzt ist immer anders! (Now is always different!)
DESCRIPTION:Sculptor week 2020 at the Naturatelier Frickingen at Lake Constance\nFelix Bockemühl presented his special work in the “Naturatelier” Frickingen at Lake Constance/Germany in a working group at the autumn conference of the Council 2018 and thus gave many colleagues* an idea for an inclusive art\, nature and event location. \nThis summer he invites to a sculpture week at the end of September. \nThe motto “Now is always different!” seems to be all the more up-to-date at this time. Working together\, the unpredictability of the present is put at risk and serves as inspiration for the unexpected. \n\nDownload Flyer (PDF\, in German) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo the event page

SUMMARY:«Crossing Bridges – Being Human» – 100 Years of Anthroposophic Medicine
DESCRIPTION:World Conference of the Medical Section at the Goetheanum\nIn 2020\, Anthroposophic Medicine is celebrating its hundredth anniversary. The classic annual conference at the Goetheanum has therefore been transformed into a festive world conference. It has been in preparation for several years by a group of young people in the Medical Section. \nThe programme brochure contains information about 30 keynote lectures and more than 120 workshops and specialist courses\, making the anthroposophical image of the human being subject to practical experience in medicine through the four elements\, ether types and stages of consciousness. How do body and soul interpenetrate one another in the moment of enthusiasm? \nHow does everyday work change when we jointly strive for the ideals of freedom\, love and wisdom? What characterises a healthy medical establishment and a health service that does justice to the human being? What understanding of illness\, what therapeutic concepts can Anthroposophic Medicine contribute to the various specialisms in the spirit of an integrative medicine? How does the collaboration between different healing professions develop in the process? \nTo what extent can we bring into the present the original impulses of the system of medicine founded by Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegman? What are the scientific\, health policy and therapeutic milestones of the last 100 years? What is our perspective and vision as we face the future? \nLastly\, we want to turn to the spiritual in medicine: how do we put into practice the good in medicine? In doing so\, we address above all the approaches\, exercises and meditations of the young physicians movement\, of pastoral medicine and the path of inner development of the School of Spiritual Science. \nOn the official conference website of the Medical Section you will find much more information about the program\, registration and current planning regarding the worldwide corona crisis.
