Spanish initiatives for therapeutic education and social therapy presented themselves in Madrid and Torrelodones 10-13 November 2022

On Saturday 12 November, the teachers of the inclusive kindergarten and Waldorfschool, the colleagues of the intentional community for social therapy and the students from the training course in Spain were guests at the home of the Anthroposophical Society in Madrid. Bart Vanmechelen gave a talk on the Foundation Stone Meditation and developments in anthroposophical care for people with disabilities. The presentation of the various initiatives by their staff was received with great appreciation.

On the previous day Bart could visit the different initiatives and learn about their development. The warm encounters and inspiring conversations brought a lively experience of the Council network and collaboration.

On the last day of his visit Bart gave a talk to the students of the training course about the inner schooling path in the daily practice, inspired by the exercises Rudolf Steiner gave in his course on therapeutic education. It was a great joy to recognize the common ideals and enthusiasm in each other’s practice.
