From 26 to 30 October, the Camphill Community held its International Congress in Aberdeen. The 47 participants represented all regions except Asia and South America. With a particularly intensive and content-rich programme inspired by the Foundation Stone Meditation of the Anthroposophical Society, the spiritual impulses of Camphill in relation to the spiritual and cultural development of humanity were recalled, the present situation contemplated and possible future developments considered. Special attention was given to the relationship between the Camphill community and the variety of initiatives that have developed in the Camphill movement, as well as to the involvement of young people. In addition to the lectures and creative working groups, there was also room for many encounters and conversations. One of the aims was to establish a stronger connection and cooperation with the Council and the School of Spiritual Science, which was represented by Bart Vanmechelen.
