every child! – a new international online course for Waldorf SEN and Inclusion

Is your school inclusive? Can it provide access to children with different talents, learning styles, backgrounds? Would you like to make your practice more differentiated, in your classroom, in a home school setting, with your own children? The every child! course from The Modern Teacher this September will give excellent basic training and offer pedagogical and structural solutions. It is led by the UK special needs expert Ann Swain and experienced colleagues from India. The course will be presented online with 90 minute sessions offered every Monday over 6 months, starting on 9 September. Live times are 10.00 New York, 15.00 London, 19.30 Mumbai. Recordings and resources will be available throughout the course. every child! is for every educator, in any setting. Six sessions of the 22 are designed for the “whole staff”: Ideally all teachers in an institution take part in these, whatever their subject specialism. To build a school culture of inclusion, it is important that all pedagogues have a basic understanding of, and appreciation for, different learning and teaching styles. Participants will:

  • Arrive at a clearer understanding of how these children learn best
  • Learn to provide children with the tools and means to know themselves as effective learners
  • Receive many useful techniques for observation and differentiation
  • Learn how to create an inclusive, differentiated learning culture in schools, helping specialists and generalists to take responsibility collectively and individually.

every child! is presented by experienced, enthusiastic professionals, and organised by The Modern Teacher, a UK-based non-profit Community Interest Company, which is known for impactful online courses such as Waldorf Direct and Waldorf 360.
