Curative Education Collection in Goetheanum Library
The integration of the Council’s professional library into the Goetheanum Library catalog system is underway. This will make it much easier for researchers and interested parties to access the most comprehensive collection of literature on the Council’s field of work.
The Council’s specialized library for anthroposophic curative education, social pedagogy, social therapy and social work with and for persons with disabilities comprises a nearly complete collection of German-language literature in this field. This includes monographs, edited collections, academic theses, journal articles and manuscripts. Partial collections of literature in other language are also available, including works in English and Dutch, as well as French, Russian, Georgian and Scandinavian languages. The collection will be further expanded and completed on an ongoing basis.
The specialized library is maintained in collaboration with the Council as a standalone collection in the Goetheanum Library. A large part of the holdings can be found via the catalog. Some parts of the collection are not yet catalogued, but are accessible on site. Please contact the Goetheanum Library directly with any questions. The already cataloged part of the collection can be accessed in the search mask by entering the search term ‘Sammlung Heilpädagogik‘.
