Meeting of the International Training Council in Sekem (Egypt)

The Training Council (the coordination group of the International Training Circle) held its autumn meeting in Sekem in Egypt.
We discussed with our colleagues perspectives on the design of curative education tasks within the framework of the local Waldorf school and vocational training.
For a year now, a 3-year basic course in anthroposophy, curative education and school inclusion has been offered through cooperation with Step Together from Lebanon under the direction of Dr. Reem Mouawad. In addition, a cooperation with the Heliopolis University is planned in order to carry out teacher training in the field of school inclusion and curative education within the framework of a planned faculty of educational sciences. To this end, international networking with cooperation partners is sought.

In addition, the group worked on the planning of the next international meeting of the Training Circle, which will take place in Buenos Aires from 30 April to 4 May 2024.
