Further impressions of the autumn conference from participants
… many positive things – gratitude – diversity – beautiful evening programs – humor – relationship to the Goetheanum – encounters – people from 55 countries – people of almost every age – joy – energy – sensing the future and transformation …
What do I take with me in my daily work and what do I share with my colleagues?
Worldwide community. Diversity. Encounters. Enthusiasm. Inspiration and energy. The future is emerging, becoming visible – the new Section at the Goetheanum. Finding or rediscovering an inner attitude. Contemporary topics in psychology and psychotherapy in connection with the HPK.
What would I have liked to have had more of?
More people with disabilities on stage. More inclusive approaches. More contact with non-anthroposophical experts. Support communication. Involve experienced colleagues more. Deepen the HPK. Diversity of methods. Space to share problems and challenges of everyday life. Anthroposophical content in lectures. More artistic-creative offers to participate. More younger speakers and more offers for young colleagues. Being able to speak in one’s mother tongue on stage. More time and breathing space during the conference. A dining room with fewer stimuli. Comfortable spaces for retreat. A humorous program in the evening. More space and time in working groups and forums. Lyrics projected onto the screen. More plain language.
What is my personal diamond?
Singing in the morning and in the Open Space. “Human” dance theater. Contribution from Rwanda. Learning experiences in working groups. The founding of the section. Self-healing powers through stories. Insights into traumatic situations and how to deal with them. Kaspar Hauser exhibition. Performance of the Goetheanum Eurythmy Ensemble with the Foundation Stone Meditation by Rudolf Steiner. Dawn Nilo – reflections of the fool. Peace-building atmosphere. Introducing the countries.
What do I want for, from and with the new Section?
That it thrives. Openness and transparency. Remaining curious about the future. That it brings the quality of an open heart to all sections and allows it to flow in. Strengthening and deepening connectivity in the (non-anthroposophical) world. A strong voice for inclusion. Attention to people who cannot represent their own concerns. Energy. Joy. Strength.
