Lead Professional Communication

Franka Henn first studied European, Political and Social Sciences at the universities of Maastricht and Leipzig. During this time, she already worked as a freelancer and volunteer in various small cultural, local and sustainability publications, among other things, she led the editorial and graphic design of ‘Initiativ’ (Association Ecumenical Initiative One World / Earth Charter Initiative) for five years. In 2013, she changed her field of study and trained in eurythmy at the Institute for Waldorf Education Witten / Annen. At the same time, she took elective courses in cultural reflection and art studies at the University of Witten-Herdecke. After graduating in eurythmy, she moved to Basel, where she lives today. There she began a traineeship for Das Goetheanum and then worked for seven years as an editor and coordinator. At the same time, she completed several intensive training courses: as a stage artist in anthroposophy and visual arts (Basel, 2019), as a eurythmy student at the Goetheanum stage (Dornach, 2020), in pregnancy and postnatal gymnastics (Basel, 2022) and in eurythmy as a moving process support (Dornach, 2024). At the beginning of 2025, she moved from the editorial team of Das Goetheanum to the Section for Curative Education and Inclusive Social Development to take over the management of professional communication. Here she develops new formats and platforms for professionals in this field and for the journal ‘Anthroposophic Perspectives in Inclusive Social Development’. Her second professional field remains working with eurythmy in workshops and courses.
