Climate transformation in social institutions – how do we create a healthy atmosphere?

Where?
Mäander youth welfare center in Potsdam-Kuhfort and meeting place Freizeit in Potsdam

 

The focus will be on the topics of nutrition, energy, funding and financing, “love of things” (consumption and waste) and the process design of climate transformation in social institutions. It is of great importance that the participants work on the topics interactively in small groups and develop creative possibilities for what a concrete socio-ecological transformation in social institutions can look like.

The first half day will take place at Mäander:
Here, the participants will gain insights into the process of climate transformation at Mäander since 2018 and approach the topic of the current relevance of the climate crisis.

The second full day will take place at the seminar center Treffpunkt Freizeit:
Here the participants will come together to work. After a creative warm-up, there will be keynote speeches and workshops in which we will
deal with the general and individual questions of the participants.

Afterwards, there will be an art performance dealing with the topic of climate justice and the exploitation of nature and global power structures.
