Activities of the MAHLE FOUNDATION in Yerevan, Armenia

The MAHLE FOUNDATION’s latest newsletter (February 2025) highlights the foundation’s activities in Armenia.

Mayri in Yerevan is a very encouraging example, as the organization was founded by a working group within the Yerevan Waldorf School.

For many years, colleagues in the Section for Inclusive Social Development have been working in educational contexts. Here, colleagues from Russian-speaking countries work together to support, strengthen and develop the work in the post-Soviet republics.

Thanks to the great commitment of Zaruhi Manukyan, the many volunteers and the support of the Friends of Waldorf Education, Mayri has been able to provide a safe place for adults with special needs for many years, and to keep opening its doors to other municipal social projects and educational collaborations with the university.
