Camphill Youth Conference 2023

Dear friends and colleagues around the world,

We are very pleased to announce the next International Youth Conference! The theme will be ‘Creating and Re-imagining the Future of Communities’.

It will take place in Camphill Community Newton Dee, Scotland from 11th–14th May 2023.
We warmly invite all those burning with questions about community, the future, or their own personal development to meet and shape that future.

Over four days you will hear talks and get involved in discussions about personal development, leadership and social 3-folding. There will be many artistic activities, workshops, evenings filled with music, mirth, and magic, and opportunities to experience the unique warmth of life within a Camphill Community. We will also get to know the thriving community at Newton Dee, and find out about the many creative workshops there.

The initiative of organising this conference comes from a collaboration between individuals from various Camphill Communities in Scotland, Northern Ireland and England (Newton Dee, Clanabogan, Glencraig, Esk Valley) and the Youth Section at the Goetheanum in Switzerland. The organising group met in Newton Dee in November last year and discussed various themes. Some of them were about how many people are looking for a different way of living in community, often not knowing where to go and who to ask. Another common interest was building new connections and friendships between communities, intergenerational learning and a renewed awareness for each other in an evolving worldwide movement.

Whether you have an interest in Camphill, Anthroposophy, making intentional communities a reality for the future, seeking personal growth, or wish to meet other like-minded individuals and build connections, your presence as a unique and precious individual will be highly valued.
