29th Annual Conference of the International Training Circle
April 23 - April 26
Methods and Tools to Develop Competencies in Awareness, Feelings and Action for Inclusive Social Development
April 23-26, 2025 at the Anthroposophical Center in Kassel, Germany
This year’s annual conference of the International Training Circle will once again take place at the Anthroposophical Center in Kassel, Germany.
While the program of our conference is still in the works and will be shared in more detail in February, the next steps for the development of our network are clear. They emerge from our work under the umbrella of the ERASMUS+ Project Peer2Peer-CET, which has been our focus from 2021 to 2023:
- Building a network platform for sharing competences and resources
- Developing a shared reference framework for professional education in our field
- Developing continuing education courses and micro-credentials that can be offered internationally
- Developing new partnership formats
Thematically, we are proposing to do all this while exploring together what “Inclusive Social Development” may mean in the context of professional education and training. In doing so, we are building on the work of the 2024 conference in Buenos Aires.
Everyone who is active as a mentor, lecturer or instructor in professional education and training contexts in anthroposophic curative education, social therapy and related fields is warmly invited!
Current Call for Proposals for 3-Year Peer-to-Peer-Professional Development Seminars (Annual Conferences 2025-2027)
Topic: Methods and Tools to Develop Competencies in Awareness, Feelings and Action for Inclusive Social Development
For the upcoming three-year cycle of work, which includes the annual conferences of the International Training Circle in April/May of 2025, 2026 and 2027, we are seeking proposals from colleagues in the network who can offer a continuous three-year professional development seminar. Each seminar will consist of a series of workshops at these three successive annual conferences. Each seminar will also include some low intensity additional remote/virtual engagement with the group of participants in the two intervening years (between the 2025 and 2026 conference, and between the 2026 and 2027 conference). The seminar offered should add to participants’ practical toolkits as professional/adult educators by teaching a concrete educational method, didactic approach and/or instructional design for a topic that is relevant to professional training in our field of work. The tools and methods introduced during the seminar should be aimed at building competencies for work in inclusive social development. These competencies must be clearly described in the proposal.
