Social Play Space – Making Room for Fulfilling Biographies

Impressions from the International Conference for Curative Education and Social Therapy at the Goetheanum, October 8-12, 2018

We would like to thank everyone who played with us in the spaces we created together. It was a special experience that will continue to inspire us! In place of an article about the conference, we want to share three quotes that were sent to us. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to all of you!

“I really felt in Dornach that the international community in Anthroposophic curative education has come closer together. We are able to inspire each other with our different experiences in a way that is much stronger than in the past. I am sure that is a fruit of your engagement. When I look at the situation of the world right now, it is clear to me that this is a tremendously important and healing work. It is worth focussing one’s energy on that. I believe that the success of this year’s conference with its special atmosphere, which – at least for me – gave new strength to my will impulses is also due to this experience of diversity and responsibility in community.“

“Very well done. Heard about it many years, now saw reality.”
Written feedback from a German colleague.

“Through the conference and the encounters, I was able to experience new goals for the future. These allow me to continue to cultivate this inner attitude – where my seeds can sprout and grow into trees in the world. Then they can give shade to others in the strong sun, or a place to rest and get some sleep. And they can nourish everyone through their ripening fruits.“
