New publication: Contributions to Rudolf Steiner’s Course on “Education for Special Needs”
From the project of the Anthroposophic Council for Inclusive Social Development, which made possible the new, revised and expanded text edition of Rudolf Steiner’s Course on Education for Special Needs (GA 317), which is now available, the comprehensive accompanying volume is now also being released. The book is the joint work of a group of authors who explore the future perspectives that can be gained from Steiner’s explanations against the background of the time when the course originated and through reflection on the current situation. The 22 contributions deal with the following topics:
- The course on special needs education in the past and today
- Basic ideas and understanding of the human being
- Guiding concepts of constitutional phenomena
- The children of the course
- On the internal development of professionals
- Perspectives on spiritual development
The print edition of the book can be ordered from the Verlag am Goetheanum. The book is also available as a digital open access publication (e-book). During the International Conference (October 2-6, 2024) it will be available at a special price at the publisher’s stand (see flyer).
