Impressions from the Autumn Conference 2019
This year’s ‘small’ autumn conference of the Council took place from October 3-5, 2019, at the Goetheanum in Dornach.
Just like one needs to be awake to be able to learn about one’s dreams, one needs a higher consciousness to learn about one’s daily soul-life. Therefore the open School of Spiritual Science conference about the seventh lecture of Rudolf Steiner’s Curative Education Course got the title: “Practice Spirit-beholding”.
With this theme the participants focused on the most central task in therapeutic education and inclusive social development: to create the conditions and offer support for the healthy development of the human soul. How do we work for a harmonious mind-body connection, for the subtle connection of the astral body with the physical body? And even more challenging: how do we do this in a society that is more and more hectic, nervous and stressfull?
Carried by the lively breath of singing together, exploring and experiencing soul exercises and sharing good practices, we co-created multi-perspectival and colorful insights into human soul development.
The open class conference made it possible to deepen the work on the esoteric exercises and mantras for those who are engaged in the School of Spiritual Science, as well as to give the opportunity to learn about and experience this work for those who are not yet familiar with this inner work of meditation, research and reflection.
