September 13-16, 2018, at the Goetheanum, Dornach, Switzerland
We participated with the following contributions in this year’s conference of the Medical Section:
On Friday afternoon, at the ‘World Space’ event in the main auditorium, Sonja Zausch presented a brief report on the structures, tasks and themes of the Curative Education and Social Therapy Council. Since we are affiliated with the Medical Section, and therefore also members of IKAM (International Coordination Anthroposophic Medicine), this was a great opportunity to make our real work and tasks visible in this context.
In addition, Sonja Zausch led a workshop in social eurythmy, “Light Qualities in Team Processes”. Notably, half of the participants were therapeutic eurythmists, who usually work in one-on-one therapeutic relationships with individual clients. Maybe this created a longing to move as a group!!
Our third contribution was a reading of the 18th class lesson in English by Bart Vanmechelen, during the School of Spiritual Science retreat on Sunday morning. We were particularly happy that Rüdiger Grimm had also been invited and presented the same class lesson in parallel in German.
Overall, it was a warm and lively gathering with about 700 participants from 38 countries.
